ASAP was founded by Peace Corps Volunteers Tom and Liz, who met and married while teaching in rural Swaziland. Inspired by the determination of families working to overcome poverty, they created ASAP to help people build better futures through education, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
Today, thousands of families have strengthened their livelihoods through ASAP's training in savings group management, entrepreneurship, vocational skills, and education. By providing practical knowledge, skills, and tools, we empower individuals and communities to create lasting opportunities and thrive.
Bringing Our Experience Home. Building Stronger Communities.
Today, ASAP is bringing more than 30 years of experience home to address needs in our own communities. Through our new Tools for Empowerment Lending Library (TELL), we're working to bridge the tool gap, expand access to vocational opportunities, and strengthen workforce development in Coweta County.
